CO2 Systems & Parts
There are two main types of CO2 systems used in modern small scale home brewing; S30 cylinders and 8g bulbs. The cyclinders are most cost effective because they store the most gas using the least resources, whereas the bulbs could be seen to be somewhat wasteful. However, you must be careful only to inject the gas for a second, else you will overcarbonate your vessel and waste the gas. The bulbs provide measured shots. You can buy your Hambleton Bard S30 cylinder at our shop, but we can't send them out to you due to postage regulations. After buying your cyclinder though, you can get it refilled at a fraction of the cost.
The bulbs use the pin valves and the cylinders use the valves without the piercing pins.
